Pamalican Island

Share

After an hour or so looking at the dolphins, we headed to Pamalican island. It's a small island about an hour away from Panglao. We were supposed to have lunch there but since we arrived early we were able to walk around and take photos of the island I prefer the beach in Pamalican than that of Panglao's... it has less sea weeds. :)

Dolphins!

Share

Ok, Back to Bohol... We booked a tour to see dolphins near Pamalican Island. I was hestiant at first to bring my cam along but heck, I don't get to shoot dolphins everyday! Good thing I had my 18-200 lens on my cam so shooting dolphins from afar was a tad easier. It was really difficult to shoot them since the boat was constantly moving with the waves and I couldn't really predict where the dolphins would pop out! Anyway, these are cropped shots already since they weren't that near at our boat.

I'll take a break from posting my pictures from bohol. This was taken a few weeks ago when I had a shoot at Grey Area Studios. Benny and his ever eager to help mom was there to help in the shoot! So while the model was preparing I took some shots of Deng with her little Benny boy! :D

Chocolate Hills

Share

It was a bit surreal to see the famous Chocolate Hills with my very eyes. I only saw it in books and magazines before. Since I went there early June and it has already started to rain. Grass has begun to grow on the hillsides hence they don't look quite chocolatey. :)

Inside Baclayon Church

Share

This is how the church looks like from the inside. The tour guide said that there weren't chairs before for the town's people who attended the mass They all just stood in the middle during the entire duration of it. There were large benches along the sides of the church and she said that these were reserved for dignitaries of the town. There was an eerie glow of different colors from the inside of the church because of the stained glass windows and the mossy plastered wall.

Baclayon Church

Baclayon Church is considered as one of the oldest Churches in the Philippines. If I heard it right from our tour guide, it's the second oldest church to be established here. It was put up by the Jesuits during the 1600's and was later on under Augustinian priests.

Metrowalk

Share

I had a meeting yesterday at Dencio's in Metrowalk. I hooked up my gorillapod on the railing at the second floor and fired away! for those of you who haven't heard of the gorillapod, you can check it out here. I bring it with me everywhere I go, so that even night time won't stop me from shooting! :)
