Cakes Shoot

I had a shoot this afternoon for my brother's friend Kats... She bakes and sells these wonderful cakes and I'm going to design her brochure. These are just a few of her products. I'll post more in the following days to come. BTW, I tried all the cakes after I was done taking photographs of them and they were GrrreeeaaAAATTT!!! haha! :D

Sharp Event

We handled the Sharp annual dealer's convention last Friday for work. I wasn't the official photographer I was there to help oversee that the creatives that were done for the event were in the right place and were properly executed. I just brought my camera for the heck of it hehe. :D

Weng's Wedding in B&W

I've been too busy at work last week to update this blog.. I only had about 4 hours of sleep the entire week and by the Sunday morning I got sick. It was a good thing it happened after my officemate and dear friend Weng's Wedding. She was married last Saturday at the Edsa Shrine Church *appplause* :D I'm still sick right now and I was absent at work today. I didin't have the strength to process all the photos but... here are a few in B&W, four to be exact hehe.

ID4 Alien

This was a the character from the 1996 flick Independence Day. Obviously it's not Will Smith but the alien from the movie. I made this scale model way back in high school which was a long long time ago... I painted it using an airbrush and few portions were hand painted. I was playing around with my lights last night and this was shot using the softbox and a reflector against a black background. :D

Dapat Daily Shoot

These are some of the behind the scenes photos from the Dapat Daily shoot way back in April of this year. My hand was used in this advocacy campaign hehe actually it was just my fingers... sikat na fingers ko :D

Mystery Headlight

This was really a thing of beauty...*drool* who can guess what car this is?! of course the owner and those who saw me taking a photograph of this car can't make a guess.. :)

Lala part 2

I played around with Lala's photo in photoshop (I hope you don't mind Lala hehe). I added grain and upped the contrast. I couldn't decide which one to post so I posted the 3 variatons. :)

Lala

My friend Lala asked Hans and I too help her out with her setcard. So, last sunday we had a photo session at Hans' place. The shoot was from 3pm up to almost 1am but it was worth it. These two photos was shot with two slaved sb800 flashes inside one of the bathrooms.

Mariel's "Despidida"

I brought my new lights to my friend Mariel's going away party.(shes having a vacation in the states for only a month this was actually just an excuse to drink) So i played around with the lights and with my friends.. asking them to do silly poses! :) The whole set can be found here.

More Trial Shots

I played around with my new lights again today. I know these shots are far from perfect.. well I was never a fan of controlled lighting but I'm starting to enjoy this. :)
